Creating Proficiency Scales to Support Student Learning (Virtual)

Creating Proficiency Scales with Dr. Phil Warrick (Marzano Associates).  This session will engage participants in the creation of proficiency scales.  The workshop will begin with direct instruction about what proficiency scales are and how they can enhance learning for all students.  Participants will then engage in the process of creating proficiency scales by developing one of their own in a guided practice format focusing on specific levels of the scales.  The second portion of this workshop will focus on how to use proficiency scales as instructional tools including planning for units of instruction and using scales with students.
